Colonoscopy preparation

Colonwash: a gentler colonoscopy preparation

Facing a colonoscopy doesn't have to be a stressful experience. Colonwash is an assisted preparation that makes bowel cleansing faster, more comfortable and better tolerated than traditional laxatives.

Colonwash, gentle colonoscopy preparation

What it is

An assisted bowel cleansing, at the studio

Colonwash is a bowel cleansing performed with filtered water at a controlled temperature, in a protected setting with qualified staff. The goal is simple: to arrive at the endoscopic exam with a truly clean bowel, without having to face hours of laxatives and evacuations at home.

It's a solution designed for those looking for a more convenient, discreet and better-tolerated preparation.

Just water

Only filtered water, no aggressive medications.

Comfort

A discreet procedure, respectful of your privacy.

Assisted

Always supervised by qualified staff.

Effective

Adequate cleansing for the endoscopic exam.

Comfort and wellbeing during the treatment

The advantages

Why choose Colonwash

Traditional preparation with high-volume oral laxatives is often considered the most tiring part of the entire exam. Colonwash was created to make this step much simpler.

  • Fewer laxatives to drink

Significantly reduces the amount of evacuant solutions to take at home, often difficult to tolerate due to taste and volume.

  • More comfort during preparation

No long hours of repeated bowel movements at home: the cleansing takes place at the studio, in an assisted and private setting.

  • Shorter timing

A single dedicated session, instead of an at-home preparation that can last an entire day.

  • Better tolerated

A helpful solution for those who struggle with classic laxatives: older adults, people sensitive to nausea, or those who find it hard to drink large volumes.

  • Gentler on the body

Less risk of dehydration and imbalances compared to high-volume oral preparations.

How it works

The path is always agreed upon with your referring endoscopist and adapted to each individual.
